CountAble sends text messages only to users (and accountability buddies) who explicitly opt in. This page describes the program.
Inside the CountAble app, a user enters their phone number, receives a one-time verification code by text, enters the code to prove they own the number, and then explicitly accepts an SMS consent notice describing message types, frequency, and opt-out instructions. No one receives recurring messages without completing these steps.
Frequency varies with your settings — typically up to a few messages per day (your own scheduled reminders) plus weekly summaries. Message and data rates may apply.
Phone numbers and SMS consent records are used solely to operate these features. We do not sell personal data, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
