CountAble sends text messages only to users (and accountability buddies) who explicitly opt in. This page describes the program.
Inside the CountAble app, a user enters their phone number, receives a one-time verification code by text, enters the code to prove they own the number, and then explicitly accepts the consent notice below. No one receives recurring messages without completing these steps.

Frequency varies with your settings — typically up to a few messages per day (your own scheduled reminders) plus weekly summaries. Messages about paid plans are limited to a few in your first days and stop on their own. Message and data rates may apply.
